About Us
The Career Development Center (CDC) is a social initiative by Xurtials Limited. It focuses on researching career development, gathering resources, and creating job opportunities. The main goal of the CDC is to encourage a culture of skill-building, professionalism, and high productivity at all levels—individuals, businesses, and policymakers.
CDC envisions a world free from poverty and unemployment. Its mission is to build a well-trained and knowledgeable workforce, empowering people to succeed in their careers and contribute positively to society. By fostering skill development and continuous learning, CDC aims to provide individuals with the tools they need to thrive in a fast-changing job market. This initiative also works closely with companies and government bodies to help align education and skills with real-world job requirements, making employment opportunities more accessible and sustainable.

Dr. Shayokh Ahmad
Dr Shayokh Ahmad is a seasoned corporate leader, management consultant, trainer, and academic with over 25 years of professional experience in senior management positions across the financial services, telecommunications, automotive, tourism, mobile devices, real estate, and aviation industries. He teaches human resource development and entrepreneurship at one of the top universities in Bangladesh. Dr Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from North South University, Bangladesh; an Executive Diploma from the Institute of Management, Technology & Finance, Portugal; and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the European Institute of Applied Science and Management, Czech Republic. He also has a couple of professional certificates. He is also an International Certified Career Coach. Dr Ahmad is also the author of multiple books and a columnist in national newspapers.
Rehnuma Karim, Ph.D
Dr Rehnuma Karim, a PhD from Penn State University, is an Assistant Professor at the College of Brockport, State University of New York (SUNY). She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from North South University in Bangladesh and a Master’s from Wageningen University, Netherlands. She worked at UNICEF Bangladesh and spearheaded the planning and implementation of UNICEF Bangladesh’s first National Youth Forum in 1999. She is also the Founder and President of a New York-based non-profit, “Heroes for All Inc ” a children and youth-focused organization that aims to enhance the leadership potential of the youth force through mentorship, active programming, and civic engagement. Her journey towards leadership was featured in the book titled Leadership Two Words at a Time by prominent author and leadership coach Bill Treasurer. The book recently received the North American Book Award.
Dr. Thi Hanh Tien Ho
Ms Thi Hanh Tien Ho obtained her Master’s in Education from Victoria University, Melbourne, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She served for seven years as Vice Chairman of the University Council, Chancellor, and Vice Rector at Phu Xuan University in Vietnam. She also served as a Project Specialist at the British Academy and as Director at HueIC Soft Skills and Innovation Training Center. Currently, she has been serving as Director at the Institute for Partnership Development since 2023. Dr Ho is a Google Scholar with a substantial number of research publications on career development and TVET.
Farhana Yasmin Liza PhD
Dr. Farhana Yasmin Liza is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance, as well as her MBA and BBA in Finance, from the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, graduating with multiple academic distinctions. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, she has published her research in reputable peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her scholarly contributions to the field of finance. Through her teaching, research, and mentorship, she continues to inspire students while advancing business education and financial research.
